antifreeze
Has anyone heard about using antifreeze conditioner in diesel engines with wet sleeves.I talked to some mechanics about using the conditioner. Some have never heard of using and others say to use it. I guess one way or another it can't hurt.
Remley. I have worked in the coal mines on on big machines. The reason we used it the machines took 50 gals or more coolant, we never changed it an the treatment extended the life of the collant. The best thing you can do is change the coolant in your machine. I need to do the same.

I use antifreeze conditioner in my GM 2-53. I was told that it cuts down on cavitation.

We use the John Deere antifreeze conditioner after the second year of use and also have a coolant PH test kit from Deere to test the antifreeze after that we use the PH test kit for testing any motors we have just purchased as well .This way we keep cavitation to a minimum .Ask your local dealer about both products and how to use them they work !!Digitup.
