What is the main differences between JD 450 and 450 B's ?
The mother Deere have an over lap building them as in did they produce 450's and 450B's at the same time.

Also if any body could help me de-code my SN 15F3M021588T. my sn plate was pretty torn up not realy sure about the first #

when looking at that list on the message would you look for sn 021588 or 21588 i dont see any of the other sn's that start with 0 so i assume i would look at 21588

The first 5 letters do not look correct, but assuming the last 6 numbers are it would be a 1966 (straight) 450.

The other place to look up specs for differences between the 450 and 450B (besides the thread I posted) is the spec sheets at Murphy Tractor:

I got a service manual today when i get home. it will be tear down the steering clutches. and find a right rear finel drive some body let it (the finel) fill with water and it cracked.

I believe that there was a change up on the steering clutches, clutch housing and the final drives on the "B" series of 450's. You will known once you pull the steering clutch.

Either way, a final drive case or complete bolt on shouldn't be hard to find.
