I have a jd450ba crawler loader. Is it possible to remove my loader and install a 6way blade? Thanks Gary

Absolutely
The answer is yes, the loader mounts in the same place that the Dozer does.
I brief listing of what you need to change once you remove the loader, besides the dozer assembly and mounts.
- instrument console
- hydraulic valve if you want a t handle control
- hydraulic tank box, loader tank may not have enough room for the 6 way Dozer valve
- hydraulic pump, the loader pump will most likely be to fast
- fenders and mounts
- hydraulic hoses to feed the dozer
I would guess it will take a couple if days. If you doing it make sure the 2 Dozer mount bracket pins are not worn out. Consider getting oversize pins made and the die grind the mounts to fit.
I'm just waiting for spring as we acquired a loose Dozer this fall and should have the mounts from a wrecked machine but too cold and too much snow to bother looking. Also sledding season here so it cuts into my Deere time.
Another option is to build an angle Dozer to fit in place of the bucket. My dad built his first one 30 years ago. Still in service today and works just as well as a true Dozer machine if not better.
