350B ROPS Needed
350B ROPS Needed
Anyone have any ideas where I can get a ROPS for my 74 JD350B?
350B Wide Track with Backhoe
The guys at Kansas Tractor Parts found me one for my 450c last year, found 2 actually. I thought it was a pretty fair price at 700 and it came with the factory mounts to install it. I spoke with a Jarrett but I don't know if he's still there or not. Their number is 800-843-5699 and they are out of Great Bend, KS.
They took a CC over the phone and direct shipped it for me.

JD 350B ROPS
Thanks so much for the information!, I'll give them a try, I've been running my 350 w/o the ROPS pullling trees and have had way too many close calls with falling branches, snags etc.

Backhoe on or off
There are 2 different styles of dozer canopies for your 350. There is also a borrow loader version.
I would first check if you have any front canopy mounts on your 350. The canopy that would have normally been used on a B is the narrower version. There should be four bolt holes on the Dozer mounting brackets. This style of canopy would not work with your hoe attached, and the regular rear mounting brackets bolt in the same place as the hoe hooks. It may be possible to remove your hoe and drill the hoe hooks to match the canopy if the spacing is correct.
The newer and wider version comes in both a hoe and non-hoe version. The front mount requires a pedistal welded on top of Dozer cylinder mount and some hoe hooks came with the correct rear mounts.
Best start by checking if you have front or rear canopy mounts on your dozer and hoe hooks and go from there.
