hydraulic filter on 350

Post by cwheat » Fri Jan 25, 2013 8:38 am

Hello,

I have a 350B gas burner with a mechanical(6300) dozer that does not have the removable filter assembly in the top of the hydraulic tank. My service manual shows the removable flange in the top of the tank but mine does not have it. Nothing on top of the tank but a filler cap. Just wondering if there is a filter somewhere else that I have failed to find. I am also assuming there is either no suction filter on this machine or if it is there is no way to get to it to clean it other than cutting into the tank. I am not having any hydraulic problems but was just trying to service the machine when I could not find the hydraulic filters. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks all,

Charles

in the parts book it looks like the 9 1/2(wide) tank (im guessing that is what you have) does not appear have a filter in the tank or any where else .... there was talk of that narrow tank on here in another post i believe ........ try this http://www.jdcrawlers.com/messageboard/ ... ank+narrow
2010 with 622 dozer with mod. 35 ripper and a 2010 with 622 dozer bought in 1969 and a 2010 loader with drott and mod. 36 ripper
