Weld on grousers
Weld on grousers
Thanks for all the imput. Trying to figure out best route to take. When all added up with full grouser bar and time welding and the end product I,ll be better off replacing pads. With all the new parts on this machine best to stay with new pads. Least won,t regret down the road. It won,t be till end of fall now to replace pads. But would appreciate ball park figure on 14" one bar pads for 1975 350c dozer I know it all depends on when availlable. Just need a number to keep in mind. I know Lavoy said to check with him and will when time comes. Thanks again for steering me in the right direction.
According to the JD parts website, the 14" single grouser pads are NLA (no longer available). The 12" single grouser pads from Deere are $17.47 a piece ($628.92 a set, presumably for one side). That is without freight charges and tax.
Definitely check with Lavoy before you buy; even with shipping he can save money if available from aftermarket.
