Water pump on my 450

Hi, The water pump on my 450 has seen its betters days. It is leaking and after taking off fan it sounds noisy. I like to rebuild it . Can anybody Please enlighten me on the procedure ? Thanks Corteskid

your service manual should spell out every step i know the 2010 book does
2010 with 622 dozer with mod. 35 ripper and a 2010 with 622 dozer bought in 1969 and a 2010 loader with drott and mod. 36 ripper

I did a rebuild on my 350b pump. The parts are all available at Deere and, if it is the same as the 350s, you will need a press to push it apart and put it together. Not that hard to do but, you will need that service manual for the step by step instructions. About $90 on line for a download version (500 pages SM2064 is for the Deere 450 )

(1) JD Straight 450 crawler dozer with manual outside blade; (2) JD 2010 diesel crawler loaders; (1) JD 2010 diesel dozer with hydraulic 6-way blade; (2) Model 50 backhoe attachments, misc. other construction equipment
