JD 350 Seat Frame

Does anyone have a photo of a JD 350 seat frame and some dimensions? From the catalog it looks like some angle and some tubing. Mine is a piece of plywood sitting on some angle with holes in it. I'd like to restore the seat to original condition.

From my parts book. FYI, you can look at the parts book free on line in the John Deere web site. You might know this but just in case I copied it for you.
I could measure it for you next weekend when we get back from Mexico.

Thanks, and yes I have printed that page out. Some measurements would help. How does the seat fasten down? On my 350 there are two angles one down each side with a series of holes. Can't take a photo today the makeshift seat is frozen to the angles...

JT, I have never seen one where it fastens down, not the cushion anyway. Is your frame all there?

I have no frame at all, just some angle across the bottom that looks factory and a makeshift bracket that holds the back of the seat.

Edit: I found seat cushions at http://www.brokentractor.com and I think I only need the bottom cushion and some close up photos of the frame and I can fabricate a new frame.

Here is what I have.

The bottom cushion you have looks correct, but if you want a new one, I carry the same brand they do, aw well as a couple others.

Ok, so I'm only missing the seat frame?

Looking again at the parts page does the frame bolt down to the angle and you just set the seat cushion into the seat frame?

Ok, I just measured the seat bottom and it is 23 1/4" wide, same as the welded on angles. So it can't be a replacement seat as there is no room for the seat frame.

Now I can't find the actual dimensions of the cushion, just had it, oh well. How much gap is there between the cushion and the sides?

There is about 1/4" between the seat and the hydraulic tank and the battery box.

I did yes, just have not had time to look up the other pieces.
The gap you have sounds about right, the seat frame is small angle iron, so that is about all the gap you would need.
