You might try lubricating the linkage pivot points. Then follow the procedure in the service manual exactly.

sounds like you have some oil on the brake lining it don't take much and the brake is all most useless and has to be replaced... OH by the way they did not make a 350 in 1960... 1965 was the first year for a 350 1970 was the last year for a straight 350 then came the 350B
