I was doing a little logging today with a 450c when the winch stopped working. After a few minutes of investigation I found the coupling from the pto the winch was stripped out. Does anyone know how many splines are on the shaft. I was hoping to get a new one before I pull it apart is it the same splines as a 1000 rpm pto shaft or will I need to order from deere? Thanks in advance.

I believe deere only Item part# T24774 cost $90.. here in Vermont, best of luck, Mark

if its the 21 spline on a 1 3/8 shaft, they are about $15 plus ship.
440icd/602/8a,,440icd/831/ripper,,440icd/831/3pt.,misc. 440 parts, i have 5 of these now, but i can stop anytime
