450B trans temp.

Post by suzkdoc » Mon May 18, 2015 3:32 pm

Hello, Does anyone know what is the normal temperature of the trans. should be? I replaced the broken temp. gauge with a oil temp. gauge that reads 0 to 250. It is running around 215 degrees. My manual does not give a temperature range in which it should run. Thanks!

That would be a good temperature for cooking any water out of the system, Not sure I would worry if it doesn't get much hotter.
