Tried Expander System on their Dozer/Loader?
Has anyone ever used the Expander System to rebuild the pins and bushings on their dozers or loaders?
I just saw this online when I was looking into what it would take to linebore my own worn pins and bushings and thought it is ingenious, just what I was looking for versus cutting and lineboring my pivot points, but something tells me the old way might be cheaper. With equipment, if something looks expensive, it typically is.
I did a search on their sight for my 350D dozer and unfortunately all they had was info on the 350D excavator.

I have no intention of traveling to my grave in a well manicured body; instead I am going to slide into heaven with a big power turn, totally wore out with busted knuckles, jump off my dozer loudly yelling, Woo Hoo, another Shepard has just arrived!
My local dealer sells them, and from what I understand, they can be made to order. Looks like a good system, just need to make sure they stay tight.

They looked promising to me, but seemed they would only work in situations with through-pins. A few of my pins on my six-way blade could not use that style because they have a blind-pin. (For instance the cylinder eye pins for the angle).
I got a nice crawler, but I am a little frustrated with amount of slop in the pins and bushings on the blade control. Its like driving an old cable control bulldozer where the amount of suck must be carefully guarded against.

Hi,
Initially, I thought this subject was for track chain pins and bushings.....and could not figure it out in the least. Silly me!

I am sorry Stan; I was not very descriptive in my terminology. I can see why the confusion as a crawlers tracks is 75% of the tractor.

Hi,
Well, we are always talking clutches and pins + bushings here - all about tracks and track drives. So.....
I looked at these not understanding how in the world this was going to work out....and then went 'Duh!'.....
Then I figured I ought to point out that I was being dumb, so others wouldn't have to go through that phase.
