jd 350c winch problems

Hey all, had to replace my winch cable after the old one broke after it stalled the dozer in reel mode. After I replaced now it won't reel in. I get free spool and lock, just hoping I didn't break something. Hoping it's an adjustment. Let me know what you guys think. Thankyou much.

Which model winch? 3315 as was originally used? About the only adjustment in those is the brake band. The wind in is a hydraulic clutch pack. The winch has its own hydraulic system. You might have a control valve problem. Do you have the 350C Technical Manual TM? It will have info on the 3315 winch.

I have to dig it up. I think I had it on the computer. I will check it out. I think u can be right cause the free spool and brake works. Could be valve issue. Keep ya posted.
