Reverser to clutch swap
Reverser to clutch swap
Has anyone swap from a reverser to a stanard clutch if so what all has to be changed. The track bolts are broke and some holes have been redrilled and tapped but unknown size. Thanks
Re: Reverser to clutch swap
It can be done but would be expensive and would depend on parts availability. Basically you have to replace the flywheel on the engine to accommodate a pressure plate and clutch disc. Then a drive shaft to extend from the clutch to the transmission. Then you have to replace the entire center housing that has the throwout bearing and clutch release mechanism to replace the reverser.

To go with Leonard's info here is a direct link to the 350 Parts Catalog so you can see all the parts to change.
