JD 450 Crawler Loader ?
Re: JD 450 Crawler Loader ?
Agreed, I was just trying to confirm the A as I have encountered some saying they had an A when it was actually a straight 450, like the ones that add D after a model number because they have a diesel engine, or a G for gas. If it is a European 450A it does use the TM4241/4242 (English/French) Technical Manual according to the JD construction bookstore. The Parts Catalog PC4119 is not online at JDparts.com. The Operator's Manual (OML27427) is a free download at the JD Construction and Forestry bookstore. It appears all three can be purchased there, if wanted. Lavoy, are those manuals you could get through your sources as well, if he wanted?

Re: JD 450 Crawler Loader ?
There is a TM4241/4242 on sale on eBay right now by a seller in Pennsylvania for a good price. No parts catalog there. The Operator's manual on eBay is an overseas seller and price is more than JD's price (and JD has that one as a free download at the bookstore).
Re: JD 450 Crawler Loader ?
I recently (last couple of weeks) purchased an original John Deere 450C Crawler/Loader Parts Manual , PC-1443 print date June 74. It is in very good condition, just missing the back cover. I found the seller on e-bay after talking to Lavoy. The seller is located in New Hampshire and has several other original manuals available. I think the cost was around $60.00 .
