CLUTCH SETTING

Post by FL450B » Fri May 15, 2015 7:35 am

You adjust that center all thread so the finger height is 2.062" as per the JD manual. The 2 outer all threads sit on the drum.
You have to go around and adjust each finger. Then I would give each finger a pop with a rubber mallet and recheck. Keep doing that until each finger is at the 2.062 height and stays there.

can I get a price on the gauges.

I also forgot to post the pic of my track pin driver,
18" cold rolled 1" stock, welded to a T handle, a chunk of heater hose, some clamps to an old shovel handle............ works perfect.

Contact Lavoy, owner of this site, he normally has them in stock. I got one from him.

I noticed there was a pool of oil in bottom of the steering case. Is there a weep hole or a drain plug? I probably should check mine.

Those are great pictures. It looks like I may have to do the same job in a few years.
