Ok, so I've been working on getting my 9300 backhoe ready to go. Mounted it to the 350 this weekend and found an issue with the hydraulics. One outrigger works perfectly up and down. The other valve works great in one direction and not the other. The outrigger lines are on quick connects, so I swap them and the cylinder will power in the other direction. It seems that the relief side of the valve is not working right. The valve stem seems to be traveling full distance, but it does "whistle" in the direction not operating right.
I was thinking about connecting a line from one side directly to the other and maybe try to flush it.
Any thoughts if this is a good idea or not?

Make sure it is not a problem in the quick disconnects first, I have had it happen.

Cylinder won't return
I've disassembled the relevant control valve and found broken pieces of cylinder seals or o-rings wedged in the valve.
