350B rail wear guide

Post by eidolon » Fri Oct 02, 2015 11:42 am

JD 350B crawler dozer, Kentucky. Does anyone have the specs for the rail links on a JD 350B - showing range of link height and distance between pins? all the old web links (crawler forum, tractor parts - now General gear) no longer have this information posted. Service manual is no help. I hate to have to load the thing and truck it 70 miles to nearest JD dealer to get an evaluation. Thanks
JD 350B, IH 500E

I don't know the measurements but if you post a couple picks of your rails and a couple of the underside of the links showing the pins, we can get a general idea of what wear you are at, by then maybe someone on here can get you some measurements as well.

I am currently out of the 350 gauges, although I just got more stainless material to make more. Hopefully within the next two weeks I should have them completed. I'll let you know when they are completed if you are interested in one.
