help with year of 350

Post by scremineagle » Sun Dec 20, 2015 10:12 am

I have a straight 350 no clue what year it is. The panel with serial number is gone. Have now read sum threads that state the steering assist was only available on the 1970. Is this correct if so then would be a 1970 since it has this option. Any info be appreciated. Thanks

Nothing I can find in the parts book supports this. There might be other distinguishing features unique to a particular serial number. I would sit down with a parts book and page through each page to see what they might be, then look at your crawler again.

Pump is on 45-15 of the straight book, boosters on 45-16. I owned a straight with power steering, seen a few more.

OOPS how did I not see that anyway ....I went backed and looked and It shows being used before a serial# break of 44078 which would power assist as low as a 1967
2010 with 622 dozer with mod. 35 ripper and a 2010 with 622 dozer bought in 1969 and a 2010 loader with drott and mod. 36 ripper

Hi,

I was sitting here thinking it showed up for 68. But, as I no longer have 350 manuals, I could not verify the old wetware.....
