Looking for mechanic for 450 straight crawler

Post by slwbid » Mon Mar 14, 2016 6:35 pm

I may be looking at rebuilding my hlr transmission/clutches. This is probably out of my league. Additionally, I work full time at another job and need to work 'with' my dozer when I have time off, not 'on' it.
Regardless I cant afford to take it to the John Deere Dealership as they no longer accept a man's first born as down payment.

Does anyone know a mechanic in the Trenton Ga (extreme northwest Ga zip = 30752)? Trenton Ga is about 25 miles from Chattanooga Tenn. I'd like to hire a mechanic to work on mine in my own little shop. I already have part of the dismantling work done.

Additionally if it does not need a transmission rebuild, there are lots of other things that need work on it.

Thanks all
