350 brake drums

Has anyone ever had their steering brake drums turned ? Mine are pretty rusty, but not pitted just need cleaned up a bit.

Standard brake lathe will cut them fine, but if you cut, cut the absolute minimum you can. For rust pitting, I would not even bother.

Hi,

I would only cut on them if they were out of round, and then as little as possible. It won't take much gone and they won't have enough adjustment to operate.

Thanks, I just want to barely take any off, just to clean them up.
