350C reverser

Post by donnaldp46 » Tue Jun 14, 2016 10:20 pm

What would cause the reverser to be stuck in forward. Depressing the clutch pedal has no effect. This causes the pressure at the shifting port to go to zero but the machine still wants to go forward. It goes forward in neutral and it stalls the engine when you put it in reverse, like both directions are engaged at once. The only solution I can see is that the forward piston is stuck or that something is causing the discs to take up more space. I am not happy for I was just in there this winter and replaced the discs.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

thank you

I would guess something has jammed the forward clutch, maybe a broken ring?
