350b bogging out

Post by Gulia116 » Thu Aug 11, 2016 8:04 am

Im having trouble with my 350b, the machine starts fine, idles, runs through all the rpms fine while parked. But when it comes time to walk the machine will bog out while turning or when you go into a pile. Now it dies out while walking straight on flat ground. It also will bog out while going into a pile first gear wide open. I just changed all the filters drained the tank and reprimed the system, i cant figure it out. Any ideas?

Make sure there isn't something plugging the outlet from the fuel tank. Weird I know, but been there, done that.

I know in my fathers 310c backhoe there is a sock filter at the bottom of the tank, he had similar issues with that and said the sock filter was the cause. Do these machines have a similar filter?

Mine did not, if it had, most likely would have prevented the problem.

I'm with Lavoy on this one. Had a diesel Ford 3000 doing similar. Checked everything imaginable and last check was fuel tank; found red shop rag in same. Now the tank is my first check!

I'm with the busted governor ring (" mouse turds") too. I would however check the fuel tank first sense it's so easy to make sure you're getting good flow out of it.

I assumed (may be wrong to do so) that with the statement above of the OP that he has fuel flow to the injector pump ..... that's why i said mouse turds

That would be my guess as well. That is how mine acted when the governor ring failed.
