Transmission fluid blow-out??

Post by bobdoss » Sun Aug 14, 2016 9:49 am

I just bought my second JD350.

The transmisison took several quarts of JD 303 fluid to bring it to the FULL mark on the dipstick. When I moved it for the first time, a lot of fluid was blown out on the ground, and fluid no longer registers on the dipstick.

Any ideas? (Especially any ideas that don't require a major tear down to
open the transmission.

May be the cooler lines that come off the control valve and go up the left side to the radiator.

I WISH it would rain here. 6 weeks without a drop and EVERYTHING is brown, even the trees. The swamp maple are turning red from the stress...and its only August!
I have no intention of traveling to my grave in a well manicured body; instead I am going to slide into heaven with a big power turn, totally wore out with busted knuckles, jump off my dozer loudly yelling, Woo Hoo, another Shepard has just arrived!
