350 B reverser
350 B reverser
I have a 1973 350B sixway blade and rippers. Reveres-er works fine for a while then seems to stop working. It seems to be temperature related. For the first few hours of running the machine in 80 degree weather it works as designed. Then when you shift from forward to reverse nothing happens. I push the clutch and release it the machine moves fine. Any thoughts

Hi,
The clutch pedal does not operate a clutch disc - it operates a hydraulic valve which dumps pressure which stops the reverser operation. Sounds like you have a problem with that valve.

35o B Reverser
I think you are right. The interesting thing is it will work fine for several hours until it gets warm. I think I will replace the reverser filter and try some JD Hygaurd to see if that makes a difference.
