Now.... has the lever to be pulled out to be moved or is there snap ball ?
and would some heat on the cupling help ?
thanks
hydraulic pump disconnect
It h as been 6 years since I had the same problem. I ended up pulling the rad and hyd pump so I could get some anti seize on it and work it loose. no grease nipple from factory, now i keep testing it a couple times a year.

I also found the two large special grade 8 bolts which attach the frame channel to the left side of the bell housing were broken. Since the counter bore in the bell housing and the frame channel bracket were wallowed out, Im having to make new bolts oversize and reaming both bores to fit. These are dowel like in function and have to be fully torqued to prevent movement and loosening.
I also found the rear flange of the channel where it mounts to the forward face of the transmission was broken at the weld. Makes for quite an unpleasant project. All damage occurred during previous ownership so I dont know the cause. See post with photos nearby.
