re..debug problem and getting next pages too

debug appears to be NOT going away....unless posters carefully follow thru.

number one..as soon as you submit your post you see the debug..click the BROWSER back button to your message....remove everything but the first word and then submit your post...get to your new post on the message board and click on the edit button and add the rest of your message....

for some reason you are able to get posted and it also allows the next pages to follow......BUT you do have to immediately move browser back to the previous page where you were typing the message and remove everything but the first word....a short sentence mite work but i know one word gets past debug....
one other thing STAN has mentioned....if you do get debugged and DO NOT LOGOFF and back on again...you may still get debug
hope this helps

I had major debug problems while posting yesterday. I read somewhere that there can be no apostrophes (contractions) in the post. Removed mine and it posted just fine. Not sure that was the problem, but it worked for me.

Hi,

The single quote mark, aka the apostrophe, is also used as a separator in databases. That seems to be causing an issue when it comes to entering a post into the database which holds everything.

I was thinking the DB was.corrupted, but looking thru old posts they seem OK.

Once I get Debug mode, I do not log out, but I do kill my browser and restart. That seems to help.

Hi Stan,
I just spent the last half hour trying to edit one of my earlier posts. Kept getting the debug. Logged out and in and closed the browser. No joy.

Reread my post several times looking for an apostrophe. On the fifth review, I found one. Eliminated it and it posted fine.

There may be other causes of the debug, but so far this has worked for me.
