350 Engine identification

Post by M/RAD » Fri Mar 03, 2017 1:06 pm

Looking for info on my straight 350 fuel injection pump. Serial tag shows 350aa 115564L. but when look up pump part at deere it shows the roosa master stanadyne pump, but mine is a cav roto diesel pump. Was the cav pump an option or do I have a replacement engine?

If you look at the engine serial plate along side the starter I think you will find that your engine was made in France. The JD ag tractors are made in France.
My 350c has a rotodiesel ip. that was the first clue something was wrong. Then I figured out the bolts were metric. That is when I looked at the engine serial number and found out that it was made in France.
It is a 3179 engine but I do not know what it is out of.
At some point I will go to the JD ag dealer with the serial number to see if they can get me any information.
