Engine
I was doing my annual maintenance on my 450c loader and it got me to thinking.
I think I need to put a bottom end in my motor, it has great oil pressure cold but struggles warm.
My injector pump needs rebuilt.
Its addicted to either to start
Its got a broken exhaust manifold
Im wondering if I would be better off to find a whole new engine for it. I know the C could have a turbo or non like mine. How much work would it be to convert it to a turbo?

Engine Replacement
Look for a non turbo 4239. Newer model and starts better. This should be an exact replacement for your non turbo 4219.

Thanks for the ideas and comments. Im still looking it all over and was thinking about my oil pressure issue. I know that can typically be camshaft bearings too, but I do not see any mention of them in the 4219. Does it not have camshaft bearings? I know there are some older tractors made that way it just rides insides the block journals.

yeah check pressure with a known gauge, don't trust dash for accurate reading
also do a compression test to see what you have as well.
she might not be that bad, she might be ready for overhaul.
if you find low pressure or low compression at that point I would pull the oil pan to see how the crank journals look and measure the crank to see if you could do an in frame and re sleeve...any crank work a full teardown would be needed.
if you have a ton of hours, oil leaks etc you are better just pulling the motor and just replacing all gaskets etc.
