How bad is it to operate a 350D without a thermostat?
I think my thermostat has been sticking for a long time. It never once ran in the green since I owned it, always staying in the cold zone until now. Suddenly it has gone the other way. I thought the radiator blew out, had it fixed, and then watched it overheat again.
Sorry I have not been posting lately; the forum has been giving me fits ever since that bug hit this forum awhile ago, but seems to be working now).

Operating Without a Theromstat
I have no intention of traveling to my grave in a well manicured body; instead I am going to slide into heaven with a big power turn, totally wore out with busted knuckles, jump off my dozer loudly yelling, Woo Hoo, another Shepard has just arrived!

Hi,
Combustion will not be complete, so lower power and more crud gets into the oil. Cylinders will not tighten up, so lower power and lets even more of that crud into the oil. That will mean more frequent oil changes. Will not be a real issue until winter I don't think.

Test It
Why not test your current thermostat in some boiling water? If it's no good get a 15 dollar replacement.
