350 and 550 Tracks interchangeable?
350 and 550 Tracks interchangeable?
I am very new to crawlers, so please excuse my ignorance. I am wondering which if any other crawlers have the same tracks as my 350. I see a JD 550 for parts in my area and the tracks appear to be very nice. Will they fit my 350? What about JD 1010 or 2010s? Thanks.

In terms of length and link size, 350 is 350, that's it. Late 2010 uses same link, but is a longer track.

Hi,
Well, the 550 is a lot larger machine so the rails are larger as well. You will see chatter regarding putting 350 rails onto a 420, which is an older, smaller machine. One does need to resprocket a 420 to use 350 rails. But that is pretty much it for rail crossing.....
