You mean I'll need to remove the reverser case and get to the guts from the trans. end? I'm looking to see if the coupler, that I think is between the trans.input shaft and the reverser output shaft, is stripped. I was hoping to just remove the reverser parts from the front of the reverser without removing the whole case. I pulled the engine and the front cover of the reverser but, the reverser parts don't want to just slide out.

Got the reverser case out and found the coupler to the trans. input shaft is stripped. I think the shaft is probably stripped also. I haven't figured out what holds the coupler in place on the shafts. It spins around with the splines stripped but I can't get it off the shaft. Is there some kind of detent inside or is it just buggered up and stuck?

Just stuck, you should be able to pry it off. There is a snap ring in the middle to keep it centered, but that's it.
