1966 350 reverser

Post by JPignatello » Wed Sep 27, 2017 7:43 pm

The reverser on our dozen had been slow to pressurize on initial startup since we got the machine but now after helping a neighbor move his house trailer into place it's done. The reverser oil was extremely hot and now even when cold it won't engage. Anyone know where we can source a rebuilt unit?

Nothing available that I know of. Only option is to rebuild yours.

Thanks Lavoy. Do you stock the parts to rebuild this unit? Valves, seals, clutches, etc?

Just went through mine, and not to annoy Lavoy, but all the seals were available through my local JD farm dealership and they where cheaper than the local JD heavy equipment dealership with the exception of one gasket.
