Turns out the water pump stamped part number corresponds to an engine year and application.
Fits any year 350 350B 350C Dozer or Loader per Deere industrial parts.
Took a look through the FAQ board and didn’t anything on this subject. Found a number on the water pump flange T23629T Serial number or water pump part number ?
I have a JD350 - 152CI/42HP/3 cyl gas engine pulled. Is there a serial number on the engine and if so - where? The crawler frame already went to scrapyard, so I can’t do it that way. I’d hate to scrub the engine down looking for a serial number if I can narrow the area down.
Thanks

You're probably long past this issue but my service manual shows the engine sn to be slightly left of the eng oil dipstick.

Hi,
152 CID is a Diesel. The gas was 135 CID, and lower HP. But, I don't see a HP figure for the gas in my manuals, just for the Diesel. The Specifications pages are a bit misleading, only covering the Diesel as far as HP and torque figures.
