Bill, I would say post the pictures. I think it would do everyone good to take a look. My best guess is about 95% of the people who think they need a new head gasket on a older machine will need one only because they are about to tear down the motor and replace the sleeves. I do not think that most people spend the money to or even know to put the anti-galvantic protection additive in the radiator when they bust a hose or work on the cooling system the first time.

Those sleeves look so much better than the ones that came out of mine. One sleeve would have looked like a jack-o-lantern if you put a light in it. After looking at them I could not believe that all the holes held and let go at the same time. One hole was about half the size of a small pencil eraser.
The holes will most like be in the number 3 or 2 cylinders.

Jag,
My hole was in #3. I replaced the other while I was at it. The inframe from Reliance was about $450 JFYI. I also replace two injector for about $40 each, and I think I am going to go ahead and replace the other two.

IT is back together. I replace two fo four injectors becasue I broke them when I set the head down. One cylinder with an old injector is not firing all the time. I think I am going to get two more injectors.
PS Not a very hard job if you are mechanically inclined at all
