Bleeding injector lines on 350 after Injector Pump rebuild

Post by robbeers » Mon Feb 19, 2018 11:20 am

I had to get my Injector Pump (Stanadyne JDB-2732) rebuilt on my 350 due to mouse turds.

After re-installing, I am having a heck of a time getting fuel to #1 and #3 injectors while trying to bleed the lines. #2 is a steady stream.

Any tricks to get these pumps to prime? I have air free fuel coming into the IP and free flow in the return line to tank. I just don't understand why I'm getting fuel to #2 but not the other 2? Should I just keep cranking and be patient?
