My steering clutch valve located under the seat is leaking and I can't seem to fix it. I've pulled the valve body off and replaced the o-rings 3 times and it's still pouring fluid. Does anyone know what the size these 4 little o-ring should be? I can't find that information anywhere.
When I pulled the valve body off, there are only 4 little o-rings and no gasket. Under the valve body, there is a rectangular opening where you can see a large gear.... should there not be a gasket at least around this opening as well set the 4 o-rings?

Deere never thought of it, but its not a bad idea to seal the valve body to the transmission case with RTV or some type of gasket. That large gear is your ring gear inside the transmission. Just make sure the case and valve are free of paint and rust in the area before you bolt them together again.
As for the o-rings I believe the are an A3917R part number, (they're listed with the ring gear and clutch quills ) According to JD parts they are a #012 size.
