Injection Pump
Injection Pump
After doing a fair amount of research I ended up sending my JDB injection pump to Diesel Care and Performance in Memphis, TN. After using Dr Loch's( which is awesome by the way) thread on injection pumps I determined it was going to cost me around $200 in parts and tools to rebuild my pump. DCP did it for $414 and paid the shipping in both directions and had it back to me in a week. They told me they upgrade the governor ring to the new style (obviously I cannot prove or disprove that) as well as a complete rebuild. My pump was leaking like crazy around the throttle shaft is the main reason I sent it in. It came back looks great and everything is tight. I've got about 2 hours on the machine so far and I couldn't be happier. If anything changes with the quality of the build , I will update this post.

Re: Injection Pump
I have a pump and injector shop I use here in my town. 3 pumps re-built and 12 or so injectors cleaned and or re-built. Zero issues. Hard to find good job shops and when you do support them as best you can.

Re: Injection Pump
Always good to have a new source and the price is certainly reasonable.
