JD 350b reverser
JD 350b reverser
I have a question that i have been trying to figure out. Have a 350b with reverser that seems to work fine going forward but is Very sluggish in reverse. It works sometimes and does t work sometimes. When it does work it has little or no power and will barely move the tractor. Does not have enough power to back blade. I was using it this weekend and found that when i needed to go in reverse, if i put the reverser in the neutal position, depressed the clutch pedal, them shifted the reverser into the reverse position the tractor worked in reverse Just fine with full power. Is it Just the valves on the reverser or something else. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks John

Re: JD 350b reverser
Hi: My memory on this is quite dated, so take with a grain of salt.
I'd suggest taking the accumulator apart, cleaning it, paying attention to the ports and the adjustments and go from there. The accumulator works as a shock absorber and its adjustment needs to be attended to periodically. Best wishes. Paul
