450c Ripper Mounts

Post by 77 Ford » Thu Jun 28, 2018 12:41 pm

Does anyone have some great pictures of how the ripper mounts to a 450c? I'm trying to make some brackets and looking for better information. It almost appears to me that they take the bottom counter weight that has the draw bar made into off and mount it under the machine, is that right? Does the rear counter weight then stay on or come off?

I love to see pictures of the united mounted from below and behind and all around if at all possible.

Please send them to phillippic@yahoo.com and if possible post here that you have sent them.

Thank you !

Trying to complete posting with the new image server:

Doesn't seem like the same format in the examples but seems to be working?

can't see your code, but see you trying to get full size pic.....what happened at my end when i open pic it wont move back to crawlers site...try to edit your code and put..normal_ like shown in examples.directly before the pic file number..that will put pic right in your post and be able to stay in crawler site

An observation, now that I actually look at the photos.

Are those 3 bar growsers going to pull a ripper?

Hi,

Loaders with the rear weights pull rippers with their style of tracks. I think more loader machines were equipped with rippers than dozer equipped ones, actually.

Thanks for fixing it, I tried for awhile and then got distracted with my real job .....

Now I just need to get it plumbed and find some teeth.
