450C Seat Cushions

Post by Claus » Mon Oct 29, 2018 11:19 pm

This set of cushions is listed for a 350C, 350D. Will it fit a 450C? I need to find out the bolt pattern dimensions but thought somebody might know something. Thanks. Did a 450C seat originally have pleats like that?

That looks like a generic replacement for maybe a lawnmower. I think that seat would be very uncomfortable. I believe Lavoy offers seat and armrests.

Hi,

They also don't have that arch in the center of the bottom cushion. Perhaps they mean they are for a Deere 350 articulated dump truck....

Seriously, Deere used the number 350 on a dump truck. Along with seemingly everything else. Sickle bar, chainsaw, forage blower, offset disc, hay rake, elevator, stalk cutter, snowmobile, manure spreader. And, those are just what pops into my head at the moment.

Fortunately, most don't have seats. That ain't for a snowmobile, but it might be for a dump truck. :P

I actually like the pleats and think the plain seat looks cheap but I want what fits right. I found this pic on the net, at first I thought it was an original seat for a 450C but when you look closer you can see this seat has suspension and the arm rest are sitting higher than the original ones do on my machine. Looks like a much newer machine.

My machine. Never mind the loose track, let too much grease out.

K&M list cushions that look nice and factory replacements. $420.00 for the back, bottom and both arm rests, seems high, made in the USA though.

Bit the bullet and ordered the K&M set. Back when I had an Allis Chalmers D17 I had bought a complete seat from K&M, looking back it was so nice, I'm sure it's the right way to go.
