450 Power Steering
Just got my straight 450 back together and everything seems to be working fine except the power steering. The brakes and clutches are working properly but the left steering lever is harder to pull than the right. It feels very much like the difference between power steering on a tractor or truck. the right pulls very easily and grabs quick. The left is harder to pull and feels a bit mushy but it works ok. I adjusted the brakes and clutch by the manual before putting it back together. I assume there's a problem with the power steering cylinder but there's no leaks or sign of problems. Is there any way to check it out without first pulling the cylinder out? The manual gives some specs on how much force should be required to pull them but I don't have a spring scale but I know there's more difference than there should be.
