Can I get to the manifold by pulling the top cover of the transmission or do I have to pull engine.low side works until it gets hot and then it won't pull .

The more info you give of the problem, what you have done for diagnostics and the technical info you have to work with; can help people help you better and avoid confusion of what you are working on. Is this a machine you got recently and found this issue; or is it one you have had for a time and the problem has developed over time? Have you done the diagnostic checks in the manual? Do you have technical manuals TM1330OP and TM1330RE? It looks like you can access it from the top of the transmission.

Also your post should be on the Late Model Crawlers Board, where it will be viewed by more people having these machines. It will likely be moved to that board by a moderator.
