I have a 450e .I've owned it for years and have rebiult the hlr about 2'yrs ago .I use this dozer everyday as I am a logger .The problem now is fisrt thing in the mornings it does good for bout an HR then low will not work .high and reverse works ok .Is this a pressure leak that I can fix through the top of transmission or do I have to pull engine .

You say you rebuilt the HLR a couple years ago, what do you think it is and do you think you can get to it from your past experience rebuilding it?

To me it sounds like it might be a bad seal(s) in the low clutch, which would require pulling the engine and getting into the HLR again. I first would check all the adjustments of the HLR lever/valve and clutch to see that they are by the book and there is not an issue in the controls affecting valve position. Then do the diagnostics in the TM1330OP manual and see what the results indicate.
