HLR pulling in neutral

Post by Wgarner1414 » Sat Mar 28, 2020 6:06 pm

Ok guys I’ve finally got the loader back going but still have a few issues. With the loader in neutral on the hlr it still pulls and moves forward. If you put it in reverse it seems to still be trying to pull forward for a moment. You can run backwards for about 20 feet and put it back in neutral and it will stay put. Not sure if a valve is sticking or what. Would the hlr adjustment bring off cause this? I have adjusted it one time before but not sure if it would help this. I had some moisture in transmission let it set drained as much out as I could from plug and put some sea foam in. Cleared it up a lot but may need to drain it completely and put in new fluid. Any thoughts?

I would start by doing the easy things first. Do every adjustment for the clutch, clutch valve and HLR by the book and in the order given. Check the linkages closely, something may be worn out or loose as well as out of adjustment. Next after that would be looking for a hang up in the hydraulics of the HLR. Just my thoughts.

Unfortunately the normal cause of moving as described is problems with the HLR manifold caused by bad bearings. Do you have any transmission fluid leakage between the engine and transmission?
