I've seen this to varying degrees on a few drums.
This particular drum wobbles nearly bad enough for the drum to touch the final drive case.
Here's my question, what specific part creates the wobble?
It seems to me the cir clip on the pinion shaft would be the obvious pivot point, but how does one reduce the slack?
The machine turned fine as have the previous units with wobble.

Bad bearings, broken drum, bad pinion shaft, either way I woukd park it and pull the final.

I just realized I had taken the quill off to inspect the gear...I was looking at the drum today and just happened to turn the final drive around to reposition it and seen my forgetfulness.
It was late the other night when I took the final drive off the dozer and had totally forgot about removing the quill.
Now if it wobbles too much when I put the quill back on then we have a problem.
