Reverser leaking

So im leaking a lot of fluid from me reverser on my 350C. I also have a transmission problem Im going to be repairing soon. My question is what would be the best way to get at both of these units, take out motor and work back or work from trans forward? Does the tran and revers share the same fluid? could my leak be coming from transmission?

If you have trouble in reverser and transmission should remove from rear you can not take trans apart with finals on good luck systems are seperate JIM
