DIP STICK SWITCHED?

Post by Coolhand » Sat May 30, 2020 1:48 pm

So there is a dip stick to check the fluid in the reverser and one in the transmission. I think they may have been switched. One is a tube with 2 holes drilled all the way though. One hole set is about 1/2 inch from the top and the other set is just above the "fill between arrows" marks. This one is a tube and open at the bottom.
The other one is a regular stick. Looks like the engine oil stick. It is solid half round with the "fill between arrows" marks. This one is shorter than the tube one by about an inch.
They both can be fully screwed in to the fill ports. They can be switched. I have looked in the manuals and found no descriptions or pics.
Thanks for you help.
