Hey everyone,
Need to replace my hydraulic pump. My old one is a Cessna 24500-510C
From what I’ve read, the loaders only came w/ a 15 gpm vs. a 23 gpm for it's dozer counterpart, so I’m eager to change that.
The unit I'm looking at is below. It’s an 13T SAE B CW unit, so it "should" work.
Please let me know if there’s something wrong with this guy.
Thanks in advance!

I think you have it backwards. Here are the titles for the pages from the parts catalog. The title on the Dozer page is "HYDRAULIC PUMP (15 GPM 57 DM3/MIN)) (6300, 6305, AND 6310 BULLDOZERS)". The title on the loader (and for dozer with hoe) page is "HYDRAULIC PUMP (23 GPM (87 DM3/MIN) (LOADER AND BULLDOZER WITH BACKHOE)". Supposedly the 15 gpm pump uses a 9 spline shaft, the 23 gpm pump uses 13 splines.
You should confirm the spline count and shaft diameter at the pump coupling. Two different shafts were used with the two pumps, if you hadn't caught that. Also I believe your engine turns clockwise facing the fan, counterclockwise viewed from the operator's seat. They say pump rotation is viewed facing the shaft, so I think you would need a CCW pump.
Things may have been changed over the years. You may want to put hands on your shaft and coupling; and confirm rotation before ordering. Also you might want to confirm inlet and outlet sizes if you haven't. You might need some different fittings. Just my thoughts.

No, loaders use the larger pump, not dozers.

Yeah, I mixed that up. I shoulda common-sense caught it though.
Veeery good insight on the CW/CCW vantage point- thank you. I did look at the direction arrow marked in the cast, but I think it faced the nose. Either way, I'll definitely double check. Thanks again!

Ok, just so I'm brutally crystal before I pull the trigger-
Front facings like this pic, staring at the shaft is the read- thus a CCW. Sooo glad for that, cuz looking at the front of the pump is how I would have read it.
Don't know why the image link button doesn't seem to work, but here's the pic below:

Looks like CCW to me.
