450C and wildfire

Post by davidblackburn1 » Sun Sep 20, 2020 10:26 am

The fires in Oregon made it to one of our tree farms and 2nd one is not in the clear yet.

We could not get in to move the 450C, a JD Gator and a Fire trailer off of the property.

This means we are again in the market for a 450C, D or E (the little research that I have done indicates that our Winch that is on our C will fit on a C, D or E.

here is a few pictures of the fire damage to the dozer.

Ouch! Hopefully some rain is in the not too distant future. Wild fire burned within 500 yards of our house in 2018

Dude that sucks! My heart really goes out to you and everyone who is going through this. I don't know where the end is for you guys but I hope it is soon rather than later. I was once part of Missouris wild land fire folks who try to keep a lid on these things. But when nature gets this far out of whack there is no easy answer. All we can do is endure the consequences and then go from there. Stay safe my friend. I'm not a religious man but I will pray for all of you just the same.
